Welcome to Organization & People Dynamics (OPD). We are an umbrella organization for two firms – (1) The Center for Emotional Development (CED) and (2) The Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development (CESD).
Our focus is to ensure organizations and the people comprising leadership and team members are working in complete synergy. This is actualized through consulting, training, coaching and best-in-class enhancement of people and organizational processes.
CED’s focus is in the For-Profit sphere. CESD’s focus is in the Non-Profit realm.

ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE AND CULTURE
This offering will focus on impacting and changing organizational culture and climate (competing values framework). It involves enhancing the organization through its leaders and team dynamics. We utilize various personality assessments– i.e. —DISC and Myers Briggs. The offering makes use of the Ashkanasay, Wilderon & Peterson Framework.
This offering focuses on the difficulty of building a cohesive team, and the complications therein. The focus will be on keeping team development simple; as this is critical to the process. Topics include trust, conflict, commitment, accountability and results. The offering utilizes the Lencioni and Cook & Goff framework.
This offering covers and defines major components of human makeup; defining emotions and subcategories of emotional health. It involves performing the Personal Anxiety Evaluation; understanding burnout; defining coping mechanisms germane to the topic of burnout and understanding three burnout measures. The offering utilizes the Maslach Burnout Framework and Inventory.
The offering focuses on exponential leadership and certification services. It involves the introduction to Emotional Intelligence with clear instruction on what Emotional Intelligence is and is not. The focus will be on the 5 major and 15 subscales of Emotional Intelligence. Additionally, the highlighted 4 steps of high EQ events, and the 6 EQ based Leadership Styles. Both the leadership training and certification focuses on the Bar-On Model.
This offering focuses on individual and organizational change and transition management. It involves differentiating between the concepts of change and transition and identifying the three stages of transition and where you are in the process. The offering covers how to effectively manage the impact of constant change utilizing the William Bridges’ Change and Transition Framework.
STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EXECUTION
This offering focuses on strategic planning from inception to development, along with the necessary follow up of operational execution. The offering utilizes the Duncan Strategic Model and Bossidy’s Execution Concepts.

Inner Healing is a strategic examination of a person’s life experiences from birth through adulthood. The aim of this service is the identification, understanding, and resolution of obstructions to an optimal life.

Rupert A. Hayles, Jr.
Rupert A. Hayles, Jr. is the Chairman of OPDynamics.org, President and Co-Founder, with his wife Maryann, of The Center for Emotional Development and The Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development. He is the former Chief Operating Officer of both an 8,000 member and 3,000 member non-profit organization, in New Jersey. He is certified in many emotional measures, which include EQ-I 2.0, EQ 360 and TESI (Team Emotional and Social Intelligence) instruments. He has coached leaders ranging from CEOs of companies to senior spiritual leaders. He has over fifteen years in the field of strategic management from such companies as Prudential Financial, Cytec Industries and Merck Pharmaceutical Company. He is a lecturer and adjunct professor for American Management Association and Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University. Rupert is the author of the books, Practical Strategy: Aligning Business with Information Technology and Emotional Intelligence and the Church.

Maryann L. Hayles
Maryann L. Hayles is the Vice Chairman of OPDynamics.org, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, with her husband Rupert, of The Center for Emotional Development and The Center for Emotional and Spiritual Development. She has coached in the emotional development and inner healing realms for many years and is certified in the emotional measures EQ-I 2.0 and EQ 360. Maryann is a certified teacher and facilitator of the Elijah House Training School (inner healing and prayer ministry) and a facilitator of The Circle of Security® Intervention Program (designed to improve the developmental pathway of children and their parents). She is also the Founder and President of Babyz & Kidz Dynamics, a specialty store for children’s apparel. Prior to her current position, she served in Corporate America for 17 years. Maryann has a deep passion to see broken people healed, restored and empowered to fulfill their God-given purpose. She, her husband Rupert, their two children, Stephen and Savannah, and their furry friends, Ivory and Grace, make their home in New Jersey.
